MG-8 is a high-performance self-lubricating bearing engineered for maintenance-free operation. It provides reliable performance without lubrication under light duty and low speed conditions, while offering high PV capability at elevated temperatures. The bearing exhibits excellent chemical resistance, no water absorption, and high static and dynamic load capacity. Suitable for rotating, oscillating, reciprocating, and sliding movements, MG-8 is ideal for applications where conventional lubrication is impractical or undesirable.
◆ Features
1. Maintenance-free operation – no external lubrication required for extended periods.
2. Operates satisfactorily without lubrication under light duty and low speed conditions.
3. High PV capability – performs reliably under high temperature operating conditions.
4. Temperature allowance from -150°C to +250°C, suitable for extreme thermal environments.
5. Good chemical resistance against most industrial fluids, solvents, and mild acids/alkalis.
6. High static and dynamic load capacity – withstands heavy loads without deformation.
7. No water absorption – maintains dimensional stability and mechanical properties in humid or submerged conditions.
8. Suitable for rotating, oscillating, reciprocating and sliding movement – versatile for various motion types.
◆ Material Structure (Typical)
MG-8 is constructed with a high-strength steel backing, a sintered porous bronze interlayer, and a proprietary PTFE-based polymer liner with solid lubricants. This design provides excellent load transmission, heat dissipation, and low friction.
1. PTFE-based polymer mixture with solid lubricants (0.01–0.03mm)
2. Sintered porous bronze (0.2–0.35mm)
3. Steel backing (low-carbon steel) – thickness 0.7–2.3mm
4. Tin-plating or copper-plating on outer diameter (0.005–0.008mm)

◆ Application Areas
MG-8 is widely used in applications requiring maintenance-free operation, chemical resistance, and extreme temperature capability, including:
● Automotive chassis and suspension components – where light duty, low speed, and no lubrication are preferred.
● Industrial automation and robotics – linear guides, sliding mechanisms, and oscillating joints.
● Food processing and packaging machinery – due to no water absorption and chemical resistance to cleaning agents.
● Cryogenic equipment – operating down to -150°C without embrittlement.
● High temperature oven conveyors and kiln cars – up to +250°C continuous operation.
● Agricultural machinery and construction equipment – where dust and moisture prevent conventional lubrication.
● Off-road vehicles and material handling equipment – requiring high static and dynamic load capacity.
